Microsoft has been testing and announcing multiple things over the last few months. Well, the company doesn’t seem to be stopping, as it is about to add a new Settings section in Windows 11, with some “Advanced” features.

If you’re wondering whether it’s a complete revamp, it’s not. The company is instead reworking the “For developers” section that allows developers to make changes to additional features.

As usual, the news comes from Windows enthusiast @phantomofearth, who, in his latest post on X, notes:

Windows 11’s “For developers” settings page is getting a revamp, with a new name: “Advanced”!

He further explains that, “It’s the new home for several Dev Home features and bits.” Once available, you can expect to see “long paths toggle, virtual workspace options page, and File Explorer source code integration.

As noted by the @phantomofearth, the new “Advanced” settings page is available in Windows Server build 26403. The tipster also notes that the page is hidden by default and requires some tinkering to enable it with feature IDs. Moreover, the company is also moving a few keyboard settings from the control panel to Windows 11’s Settings.
