GTA 6 trailer feature image with release date

After making fans wait for months, Rockstar Games finally dropped the second trailer of GTA 6 yesterday, offering a better look at the game’s narrative and setting. The trailer revolves around the main characters, Jason Duval and Lucía Caminos, a criminal duo in the underworld of Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida.

The second trailer of GTA 6 is great, but users are frustrated by the game’s delayed release date

The GTA 6 second trailer showcases that Lucía, who recently got out of prison, joins Jason for a series of heists, leaving users with a lot of questions yet again. The game returns to Vice City, now depicted with enhanced realism, featuring diverse locales like the Leonida Keys, wetlands, and mountainous regions.

Notably, the trailer hints at the inclusion of real-world landmarks, such as a venue resembling Miami’s iconic Clevelander Hotel. Originally slated for a fall 2025 release, Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 will now launch on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Despite the delay, the trailer has reignited excitement among fans, showcasing high-octane action sequences, including police chases, shootouts, and a variety of vehicles like luxury cars, motorcycles, planes, and boats.

With its compelling characters, immersive setting, and action-packed gameplay, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is highly likely to be a money maker for the franchise. You can check out the trailer below.
